Webflow

Webflow is a fit for a marketing site a brand team will edit every week. We use it when that is the honest constraint, and we are clear about what it cannot be.

What it is

Webflow is a visual site builder with a real CMS, hosting, and a class system that can look like a design system if you are strict. It is how a lot of brand and marketing sites ship without a custom repo. Designers can publish. Developers can still inject what the canvas cannot do.

It has a ceiling. Accounts, billing, and strange product logic eventually want code. The honest use is a brochure, a content site, a campaign, with a written path off Webflow when the product outgrows it. Relume, Lattice's marketing, and a long list of Series A sites live here.

What it does

Teams use Webflow for marketing sites, blogs, and landing pages that marketing wants to edit without a pull request. Localization, CMS collections, and form handling are the usual jobs.

We stay when the brief is a site. We plan the exit when the brief is a product. Classes stay few. The account is yours, not a studio login.

Why we use it

A builder when the team has to publish without a deploy.

A small system of classes. CMS collections with limits. Production rules. If the product outgrows it, we plan the move to Next.js while the writing is still clean.

A builder is allowed. A lie about what it can carry is not.
